Program Overview
Foundations & Faith is a discussion-rich, academically grounded program designed for upper elementary students who are ready to think more deeply, ask thoughtful questions, and engage meaningfully with the world around them.
Students complete assigned reading at home using assigned curriculum. Class time is reserved for guided discussion, writing support, projects, hands-on activities, and collaborative learning. Instruction integrates values such as responsibility, integrity, and discernment in a natural, age-appropriate way.
Subjects Covered
Word & Wisdom (English Language Arts)
Reading comprehension, writing development, vocabulary, and literature discussion with an emphasis on clarity of thought and expression.
Our American Story (American History)
A narrative approach to U.S. history, focusing on key events, people, and ideas that shaped the nation.
Citizens & Cartographers (Civics, Geography & Social Studies)
Map skills, basic government concepts, cultural awareness, and an introduction to civic responsibility.
Science concepts may be introduced through discussion or demonstration, with families responsible for curriculum and supplies when applicable.
