"Step into the wild frontier with Caddie Woodlawn!
In this lively literature-based class, we'll read the classic story of Caddie Woodlawn, a spirited girl growing up in 1860s Wisconsin. Together, we’ll explore themes of bravery, nature, family, and growing up—all while discovering what life was really like on the American frontier.
Each week includes engaging discussion, simple hands-on projects using minimal supplies, and time to reflect on how pioneer life compares to today. From storytelling and map-making to learning old-fashioned games and survival basics, kids will learn history in a fun and memorable way. No textbooks—just curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning."
